I went and the people were so friendly and welcoming! They had been busy all day but made sure the customer service was given down to the last drop. I had the kool-aid and mixed flavors.... I also had seafood salad, ribs and my first experience with catfish. It put me to sleep, right away! 🤣 I have to go back and try the ribs! I see everyone talking about them all the time! 💪🏾

Hands-down, the best Black on barbecue spot in Arizona. They have my money every weekend. I do not care if I had to buy this Monday through Friday I would.
My husband and I were exhausted and starving and it was his turn to pick a restaurant. He decided on Taste My City. The young man that greeted us was so pleasant and welcoming. We ordered our food to go (we are traveling in an RV cross-country) and a sweet young lady brought it out to us in the main dining space. It smelled so good! We got back to the RV and we ate everything! We couldn't stop. It was really good. The ribs were perfectly cooked. We will definitely go back the next time we are in Phoenix.
While visiting from Dallas seen a Tik Tok on this place. And being from Milwaukee I gots to show a Chicagoan small biz some love. I had the Catfish, Shrimp and Wing combo was fire. Wife had the Link/Wing combo with Mac n Cheese was ok, yams were very good. Kool aid is most definitely fire. We def recommend!
Simple menu done well. Everything was amazing. Look no further for catfish, the best ribs in the Phoenix Metro area, cornbread done right and collard greens. This is soul food Chicago style!

First thing you need to do is go for the desserts, there are no boundaries for the peach cobbler, I could eat that all day long. Their meats are top notch and totally seasoned. Do not pass this place up.
